Fort Lauderdale, FL (Jan. 23, 2017) – South African Airways (SAA), the national flag carrier of South Africa and Africa’s most awarded airline, is offering special Premium Business Class fares from the U.S. to destinations in Africa for travel in 2017.  The fares are available from Washington, DC Dulles International Airport to Dakar, Senegal or Johannesburg or Cape Town, South Africa for just $4999.00* (restrictions apply) round-trip.  Travel on these fares is applicable for an extended period between February 6, 2017 and December 31, 2017, with tickets purchased by January 31, 2017.

Effective February 3, 2017 SAA is further enhancing the Premium Business Class experience with the introduction of our new Airbus A330-300 aircraft on the Washington Dulles route three-times weekly. This fuel efficient aircraft features warm neutral colors and finishes, a multi-functional living space, state-of-the-art technology and increased privacy while providing each Premium Business Class passengers direct aisle access with 180° flat-bed seats. The interior design creates a relaxed ambience leaving passengers feeling well rested. The service will be further expanded on June 3, 2017 when the A330-300 operates on the Washington Dulles route on a daily basis.

Fares are valid for roundtrip travel and include all government and airline imposed taxes and fees. Valid travel period  2/6/2017 - 12/31/2017. The $4,999* fare is valid for travel between Washington Dulles (IAD) and Johannesburg (JNB), Washington Dulles (IAD) and Cape Town (CPT), Washington Dulles (IAD) and Dakar (DKR). Reservations must be made at least 14 days prior to departure. Ticketing must be completed within 72 hours of reservation being made, or 14 days prior to departure, or by 1/30/2017, whichever is first. Minimum stay: 5 days. Maximum stay: 6 months. Seats are limited and may not be available on all flights. Cancellations before departure: 25% penalty will apply. Cancellations after departure: fare is non-refundable. Date change fee: $500 plus any applicable fare difference. Administrative fees may also apply. Children discounts (2-11 years): No discount applicable. Infant (not occupying a seat) discount (0 – 1 year): Pays 10% of the adult fare. Stopovers not permitted. Baggage and optional service fees may apply. Reservations made 7 days or more prior to scheduled departure may be canceled without penalty up to 24 hours after the reservation is made.
