Travel Planners International Announces Partnership with Platinum Luxury Society Travel Planners International proudly announces its alliance with Platinum Luxury Society. The launch of this new relationship between Travel Planners International (TPI) and Platinum Luxury Society (PLS) now provides all TPI affiliates with a complimentary membership to PLS, which allows them to take advantage of Seminars At Sea training programs offered by Platinum Seminars . Platinum Luxury Society’s established membership includes over 21,000 Agents and Owners from across the United States and Canada. The establishment of PLS signifies the first organization whose membership is committed solely towards sales and marketing to the affluent market. PLS is the membership side of Platinum Seminars. Founded in 1992 by William W. Brown, Platinum Seminars, Mr. Brown has sailed on over 600 cruises himself and has lectured at National Travel Conventions around the country as well as serving on luxury cruise panels. He also served for 2 years on CLIA’s Advisory Board. Providing a wealth of cruise related knowledge and expertise, Mr. Brown was nominated runner up two years in a row for Travel Executive of the Year from Travel Trade Magazine. Dana C. McPherson, Senior VP is in charge of the technical and promotions side of the company and along with 15 other Seminar Directors, conducts the seminars onboard. Platinum Luxury Society was founded on the need to offer training and continuing education opportunities to Travel Agents and Agency Owners, with a focus on selling luxury and service to the affluent community at large. Platinum Seminars utilizes Luxury and Premium Cruise Lines to host its Seminars, using these as examples of Luxury Service “At Sea”. With Seminars offered aboard a large variety of Cruise Lines offering exciting itineraries around the world, they provide a unique combination. Seminars include a familiarization element onboard the Cruise Line that the participant sails on, with a workshop format. The actual course work, which has been developed by cruise industry leaders, focuses on creative qualifying, marketing, client market identification, and closing techniques and qualifies for 3 CEU’s of The Travel Institute. It is also possible to earn up to 40 CLIA credits. This unique format educating agents/owners not only promotes the individual cruise line, but affords exciting and challenging opportunities to learn and earn. The concept of “selling up” and attracting affluent markets to the cruise experience is a key focus in the seminars. Following an individual’s experience, a tracking modality is in place to identify the sales of the agent and agency, as well as identifying the successful incorporation of course outline materials. Additionally, specialty courses focused on incentive and affinity group sales are offered. Please go to www.platinumseminars.com and click on the seminars tab. ### |
