SEATTLE, WA - Down Under Answers is proud to announce the acquisition of leading specialty tour operators to the South Pacific - Travel2 and Islands In The Sun. The acquisition from Melbourne-based Helloworld Travel Limited (ASX: HLO) sees the two well-known brands become wholly owned by Down Under Answers, a well-established travel wholesaler based in Seattle, WA, and their new corporate entity, the Travel Answers Group. “We’re really delighted to bring such strong brands into the new structure of the Travel Answers Group,” said Kirk Demeter, owner. “I’ve always admired the team and leadership at Travel2/Islands in the Sun, and this move really puts us in a great position once borders reopen to travel.” Whilst the companies will run independently, the move will see all brands in the group realize synergies for the benefit of its customers including an enhanced product range and market-best pricing. We are committed to retaining the staff of each company for maintaining long-standing customer relationships, including several consortia memberships in both the US and Canada. Under the company’s new ownership Stephen Marshall, President of Travel2/Islands In The Sun will stay on to lead the Los Angeles operation.
