India, Abu Dhabi, the Red Sea and More with CroisiEurope

Earlier this summer, CroisiEurope Cruises announced the acquisition of a new sea-going ship, La Belle des Océans (FYI it was previously the Silver Discoverer). After the ship completes its first rotations this fall between Singapore and Phuket (also available in reverse), La Belle des Océans will travel on a series of global cruises before reaching its summer home on the Saint Lawrence River in Canada, beginning in June 2020. • An 11-day cruise around India and Sri Lanka with stops in Madras, Trincomale, Colombo, Kochi, Goa and Bombay. Excursions include the site of Mahabalipuram in Madras, the churches and convents of Goa, the Victorian Neo-Gothic ensembles and Elephanta Island of Bombay, a museum dedicated to the life of Ghandi in Bombay and more. Prices for this cruise start at $6,065 per person and departs on January 11, 2020;

• A 9-day cruise from Abu Dhabi to Muscat with excursions to visit the Louvre Abu Dhabi; ascending to the top of the Burj Khalifa, the highest tower in the world, in Dubai; follow the route of Oman’s fortresses and meet with a local Omani family in the village of Al Hamra; take a refreshing swim in Wadi Bani Khaled; drive a four-by-four through the Wahiba Sands desert. Prices start at $5,237 per person and departs on January 27, 2020;

• A 10-day cruise from the Red Sea to the Mediterranean, by way of the Suez Canal, visiting Jordan, Egypt, Israel and Cyprus. Excursions on this cruise include Petra, “the rose city” of Jordan; visiting the Wadi Rum desert; Egypt’s Luxor and the Valley of the Kings; walking in the footsteps of the Pharaohs in Cairo; Jerusalem, a holy city at the crossroads of three religions; Galilee, the jewel of northern Israel; and walk in the footsteps of the Knights Templar in Acre. Prices start at $6,701 per person and departs on February 17, 2020.
