The new 11-day Taste of Italy itinerary focuses on Italy’s famed cuisine with visits to Bologna, Florence, Perugia, and Rome. Starting in Bologna, known as the city of lasagna, tagliatelle, tortellini, and Bolognese sauce, the tour visits FICO “Fabbrica Italiana Contadina,” the largest agri-food park in the world. Guests will head to the crop fields and speak to local artisans to learn the process of growing and making traditional Italian food. This culinary journey also features hands-on pasta cooking classes, a Tuscan wine tasting led by a local sommelier, city tours, and plenty of free time to shop, explore, dine and taste local specialties.

On the new 13-day South & Sicily, guests will discover several gems of the south including Naples, Capri, Pompeii, Bari, Lecce, Taormina, Palermo, and more. Starting in Naples for a taste of the world famous Neapolitan pizza Margherita, the group will head to the island of Capri on a private hydrofoil boat with a visit to one of the lesser-known sea caves, the Grotta Bianca. A visit to Pompeii is followed by stops in various ancient towns, including Bari where local women can be spotted outside their homes hand-making orecchiette and cavatelli. Additional highlights include wine tasting at a Mt. Etna winery, morning tours of winding medieval streets and secluded gardens in Sicily, a royal palace and more.
