Istanbul is replete with a choice of hotels varying in location, amenities and facilities. Here are a few recommended hotels for you to consider for your clients:
Mia Pera Hotel - This stylish boutique hotel is conveniently located in the heart of Istanbul near Taksim Square. The spa hotel maintains a balance of modernity in its furnishings with the elegance of the 19th century French architecture of the building in which it is housed. Guests enjoy the many amenities of the hotel, including the modern rain shower in the bathrooms and the sophicsticated Spa Center. Its Caladdo Restaurant serves Turkish and International cuisine along with fine wines and cocktails.
Ajia Hotel - Beautifully located on the Asian shores of the Bosphorus, this distinguished 16-room boutique hotel was once an Ottoman mansion. Its award-winning restaurant by the same name offers fine Mediterranean cuisine in a truly romantic setting on the water's edge.
Bosphorus Palace Hotel - Standing on the edge of the Bosphorus, this former home of the Grand Vizier of the early 19th century has been beautifully restored in the Neo-Ottoman architecture of the period. It features 14 guest rooms each with sumputuous furnishings and stunning views of the Bosphorus or the lovely palace grounds.
Pera Palace Hotel - Recently re-opened after a two-year renovation project, this historic late 19th-century hotel has been restored to its former glory with luxurious fittings and modern amenities. The hotel was first opened in 1892 to serve the well-to-do passengers arriving on the Orient Express. It is reported to be where Agatha Christie wrote her famous novel, Murder on the Orient Express, and one of the guest rooms is devoted to her memory. The hotel's Agatha Restaurant pays tribute to the three major stops of the former Orient Express - Paris, Venice and Istanbul - by serving a combination of French, Italian and Turkish cuisine. Guests and visitors will surely not want to miss the memorable Afternoon Tea offered in the Tea Lounge. The central location is ideal, just a short walk from the shops on Istiklal Caddesi.
The Istanbul Edition Hotel - OPENING SOON! This new hotel has everyone talking. The 13-story luxury boutique hotel located in the lively, historical Levent district on the European side of the city features 78 guest rooms and a full-floor penthouse. The 420-square-foot rooms include an entrance vestibule, bedroom area, work station, and generous seating area with large windows overlooking the city. Dining will be a treat in the Cipriani Restaurant and guests will enjoy the on-site three-story spa by ESPA including a state-of-the-art fitness center.
We are sure your clients would be happy in any of these delightful hotels. Please let us know the interests of your clients and Magister will create a special itinerary especially for them. We look forward to hearing from you soon.
Kind personal regards,
Barbara Rubin
