Try Digital Detox at This Off-Grid Cabin in Shropshire, UK
Bracken would be a very good place to be a fugitive. First off, the cabin’s location is a bit of a mystery — you only find out exactly where it is once you’ve booked. Secondly, it’s a bit of an adventure to reach. Turning off a quiet B road running through the Shropshire Hills north of…

How a Little-Known French Region Safeguarded the Louvre's Treasures During World War II
There’s little fanfare at the entrance to Château de Montal, outside the village of Saint-Jean-Lespinasse in southwest France. In fact, as I arrive one Saturday afternoon in October, more cars are parked in a lot for the modern golf course that has sprung up near it than at the 16th-century…

A Cosmic Experience in Egypt: 2027 Solar Eclipse, Nile Cruise, and More
by TRO Staff Thursday February 12, 2026
Every Advisor hopes to fulfill their travelers' quest for a lingering experiential memory. A story they will tell at every Thanksgiving, Christmas, and dentist’s office. They will tell the story as if it happened yesterday, though ten years could have passed. Relatives will be bored on the twenty-fifth telling, searching for the nearest distraction. But the travel advisor would consider this a compliment to keep them warm at night.
Central Holidays has unveiled an experience exactly like this with its new 2027 Egypt Solar Eclipse Journey, a carefully constructed program built around what many are calling the “solar eclipse of the century.” On August 2, 2027, totality will sweep across select regions of the world, with Egypt offering one of the longest and most dramatic viewing windows…

Learning Journeys Rebrands, Expands into Africa
by David Cogswell Thursday February 12, 2026
Learning Journe ys is expanding its reach into sub-Saharan Africa, and re-launching its brand with a new website and a shifted focus. It’s moving away from its academic side and leaning more into its trademark style of restorative travel, in which the inward journeys are as important as the destinations.

At heart, this has always been about transformation, regeneration, and restoration. As a yogi, and someone deeply committed to human wellness, that’s been my North Star for more than 15 years.”
This rebranding not just about logos and marketing copy. It’s more a philosophical…
