Disney Delays December Maiden Voyage of Its First Global Class Mega-Ship, Disney Adventure

“Unexpected delays” in the shipbuilding process at MV Werften today caused Disney Cruise Line to delay the Christmas launch of Disney Adventure, one of two new ships on its drawing board.

Adventure now will set sail from Singapore on its maiden voyage on March 10, 2026, instead of December 15, 2025. Guests who were booked on the original maiden voyage can sail on the new maiden voyage at a 50% discount, rebook for a future date at a 50% discount, or request a refund. Guests booked on the other canceled voyages will automatically receive a full refund and will be offered 50% off a future Disney Cruise Line sailing; they must book by March 31, 2026, for sailings on or before March 31, 2027…
