What Happens to Cruise Ship Cabins That Don't Get Sold?
For any number of reasons, a cruise line may have cabins that they didn't sell. And, like airlines and hotels, they would rather get something than nothing. With An Eye Toward Lower Emissions, Clean Air Travel Gets Off The Ground
Electric cars are all over the roads these days. But what about electric planes? Air travel currently accounts for only about 2% of global carbon emissions. But it's expected to grow in the next century, and clean air travel is seen as a key part of slowing global warming. "We're expecting to see massive growth," says Umair Irfan, who writes about…

Lodging

10 Hotel Tips No One Taught You
I’ve lost count how many hotels I’ve stayed in. Hundreds, for sure, and on every continent except Antarctica. From beach-side resorts in St. Kitts to a grand, soaring high-rise in Tokyo, to a castle-adjacent treehouse on the north coast of Scotland, I’ve stayed in some truly lovely places. I’ve also stayed at dilapidated dives in Vegas with rusty faucets…

A Close-Up Look At Grand Park Hotel Rovinj, Croatia's Newest Five-Star Hideaway

The Gulf of Papagayo
by Joseph DeLoach
Tuesday July 30, 2019

On the northwestern coast of Costa Rica is the Golfo de Papagayo, meaning “gulf of the parrot”. A place with the best of what the rest of the country has to offer: beaches, national parks, scuba diving, fishing, and much more. But the peninsula along it offers up resorts and protected natural landscapes within a gated community, and plenty of relaxation and adventure. Thanks to Costa Rica Dream Adventures, todays article will go into this recently developed part of an already popular destination, Costa Rica.

The allure of Papagayo is multilayered. The area has been designated to always have 70% of its area to remain as it has always been – a natural paradise full of biodiversity.…

Mike's Morning Missives

Give'em A Call!

I recently finished the fourth book written by a guy named Harry Beckwith. I enjoy this man’s writing style and I easily “connect” with his messages.

His four books include: Selling The Invisible, What Customers Love, The Invisible Touch, and You, Inc. They are all good, easy-to-read, and are written around short, message-bearing vignettes with a bold, one sentence sum-up message at the conclusion of each story.

On the last page of book four, You, Inc., an invitation to join his newsletter list was included so I decided to sign up for some more input. I went one step further: I emailed the author (Harry) a brief note which led to a series of emails between the two of…
